The early childhood bilingual, Italian/English, “paritaria” school is housed in “Villino Trifoglio”.
Based on the principles and values of catholic education, the school provides protected and comfortable areas and small observation points from where the children can explore, experiment and learn about the world while talking about themselves to others.
The numerous school spaces are organized to encourage and stimulate active learning through the use and manipulation of natural elements:
– the “Erboluccia” house is used to promote narrative thinking;
– the ancient washroom area with the constant sound of water flowing promotes musicality and rhythm;
– the garden with its observation points teaches the children to care for plants, to cultivate a garden, to recognize different herbs through smell and sight. The garden also helps the children to understand the passing of time;
– the art and expressive workshop is where the children experiment and learn about colors, manipulate clay and other natural materials to express their imagination and feelings alongside the art of mime.
